Terms and Conditions

(i)The Promoter

The promoter is: Hooked on Fishing Giveaways Limited (Company Number 13138505) whose registered office is at 31 Milton Hall Close, Great Wakering, SS3 0GN ("we, us").

(ii)The competition

(a)The competitions will be as described on the website www.hookedonfishinggiveaways.co.uk

(b)You will be asked a multiple choice question which will require specific fishing knowledge. All correct entries will be entitled to apply for tickets to enter the prize draw. The winner will be chosen via a random number generator on google.

(c)There is no rollover regardless of the number of tickets acquired.

(iii)How to enter

(a)The opening date and closing dates and time for entries are as indicated on each individual competition.

(b)All competition entries must be received by the closing date. All competition entries received after the closing date and time are automatically disqualified.

(c)To enter the competition you can either:

(c.I.A)You must set up an online account at www.hookedonfishinggiveaways.co.uk

(c.I.B)You can then log in, choose which competition you wish to enter and answer the multiple choice question related to the competition.

(c.I.C)If the answer is correct you will be directed to a payment page where you will purchase ticket(s) for the prize draw.

(c.I.D)All tickets purchased by the closing date will be entered into the prize draw.

(c.II)enter via the postal route (free):

(c.II.A)Send us your entry by first or second class post to "Hooked on fishing giveaways", 31 Milton Hall Close, Great Wakering, SS3 0GN.

(c.II.B)You will need to include the following information on your entry: Your full name, address, contact number, email, the name of the competition you are entering, the number of tickets you require within the per person limit and answer to the multiple choice question related to that competition.

(c.II.C)Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

(c.II.D)We will not acknowledge receipt of the free entries nor confirm if the answer is correct.

(c.II.E)All correct answers received by us before the closing date will be allocated ticket numbers and entered into the prize draw. Ticket numbers will be emailed on the email address provided. Any entries received by us after the closing date will not be counted.

(d)We will not accept:

(d.I)responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;

(d.II)any entries which are above the maximum number of entries for each competition as stated on the relevant web page; or

(d.III)proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

(e)By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and any specific terms and conditions which may be mentioned in any promotion about that competition.

(iv)PAYMENT

(a)If you are entering online you will be directed to a payment page to purchase tickets for entry into the prize draw.

(b)The price of the tickets will be indicated on the order page.

(c)We accept payment with credit/debit card

(d)Tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.

(e)You have a legal right to change your mind and request a refund within 14 days of making payment provided that the draw has not already occurred. If you wish to request a refund prior to the draw occurring please call us on 07415794661 or email us at hookedonfishinggiveaways@hotmail.com. Your refund will be made within 14 days of your telling us you have changed your mind.

(v)ACCOUNTS

(a)When you set up an online account you will be asked to create a password. You must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. You will be responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted under your password. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us.

(b)You can close your online account at any time by calling us on 07415794661 or emailing us at hookedonfishinggiveaways@hotmail.com.

(c)Accounts are limited to one per person. If we discover that you have more than one account or believe a third party account is being used by you or on your behalf, we reserve the right to terminate, vary or suspend some or all of those accounts (at our discretion) and take whatever action we reasonably consider to be appropriate (including terminating or suspending your ability to enter further competitions).

(d)We may terminate, vary or suspend access to your account, immediately and without giving you prior notice:

(d.I)if any information provided by you is provided fraudulently or is inaccurate, out-of-date or incomplete;

(d.II)on your breach of these terms and conditions or any relevant competition specific rules;

(d.III)for repair or maintenance work or in order to upgrade or update the website;

(d.IV)if we stop offering the competitions, the provision of accounts, or access to the website or any part of it for any reason; or

(d.V)for any other reason at our sole discretion.

(vi)Eligibility

(a)The competition is only open to all residents in Great Britain (entrants from N Ireland are excluded) aged 18 years or over.

(b)Employees and members of their immediate families of the Promoter, and/or those associated with the operation or promotion of the competition are ineligible to enter. Any such entries are invalid.

(c)The competition is not open to our employees, individuals or organisations who are professionally connected with us, the competition or its administration (and their immediate families)

(d)In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

(e)There may be a limit on tickets to the competition per person and we will state this on each competition.

(f)We reserve all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

(vii)The prize

(a)The prizes are as stated on each competition page. Unless otherwise stated on the relevant competition page, each entrant is limited to winning none prize per competition.

(b)There is no cash alternative for the prize.

(c)The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

(viii)Winners

(a)A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within 7 days of the closing date of the competition.

(b)Our decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

(c)We will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.

(d)We must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation we will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails hookedonfishinggiveaways@hotmail.com or writes to the address set out in condition 1 above enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date of the competition.

(e)If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being made available, please contact us at 07415794661. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

(ix)Claiming the prize

(a)We will post the prize to you free of charge. Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize.

(b)We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, within 28 days of the announcement, we reserve the right to offer the prize in a different competition.

(c)We do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

(x)Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, we will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by our negligence. Your statutory rights are not affected.

(xi)Data protection and publicity

(xii)General

(a)If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

(b)We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

(c)We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.

(d)These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
